CYK Sanctuary for Youth was created to address the gap in structured placements for youth who need consistency and support to succeed.

 

Having experienced foster care myself, I’ve seen firsthand the instability and challenges many youth face. That perspective inspired me to create a safe, structured home where youth are supported, understood, and given the opportunity to grow, stabilize, and succeed.

 

My professional experience includes working in group homes as both a house parent and program manager, as well as supporting children with behavioral and mental health needs in intensive care settings. I also gained early experience working in my grandmother’s daycare as a teacher, where I developed a strong foundation in youth development and care.

 

In addition, I have served as an outreach support specialist and program manager within a wellness center, further strengthening my ability to support individuals through structured programs and community-based services.

 

CYK Sanctuary for Youth is built on both lived experience and professional dedication, with a deep commitment to creating a stable, supportive environment where youth can thrive.
